These boards are marvellous! I rate them over any other. Yes, they mark when you cut, but as I like top quality knives they reduce the need to sharpen as regularly as any other board. Have bought for myself and as presents ... and when discounted even better! Super pleased.

We got a pair of these chopping boards because they're dishwasher safe but not plastic. They seem fine in the dishwasher so far but don't stand up well to chopping, as each cut leaves a mark on the board. Don't know how long they'll last - if I'd paid full price I'd be spitting teeth, but they were very reduced, presumably for this reason... REPLY FROM DESIGN2PLEASE: I'M SORRY THAT YOU RE CONCERNED THAT THESE BOARDS ARE MARKING - THIS IS NORMAL AND AS A RESULT OF THE BOARD BLUNTING THE KNIFE AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE, THE HARDER THE BOARD THE MORE THE KNIFE WILL BE BLUNTED. WE HAVE USED THESE BOARDS FOR MANY YEARS AND THEY DO LAST CONSIDERABLY LONGER THAN ANY OTHER TYPE WE HAVE SOLD.
